SIG Roofing values all its employees and they have a wealth of experience across their team of people. So, in a series of articles we want to introduce them to you, to showcase their value and the part that they play.
Next up is our new Divisional Sales Director for the North, with over 20 years experience in Construction Sales, which includes over 10 years of specialising in roofing products… GARY SMITH
SIG Roofing has further strengthened its senior management team by appointing Gary Smith as Divisional Sales Director – North. He will take up his new position in early November. With over twenty years of construction sales experience, including over ten years of specialising in roofing products, Gary brings a wealth of market knowledge and experience to his new position.
Gary is joining the company directly from Wienerberger UK, where he served as the Director of Sales for the Sandtoft roof tile brand for the past eight years. Before that, he held senior sales positions at roof tile manufacturer Redland and roof accessory supplier Klober. This will be his first foray into merchanting/distribution, and he’s eagerly anticipating the challenge.
Gary will report to Graham Jennings and be responsible for sales for SIG Roofing in the North of England and Scotland. He will work with the SIG Roofing key account teams to maximise their value and service offering whilst building long-lasting partnerships with SIG Roofing Contractors.
