Our Torch-On felt built up roofing systems are ideal for flat and pitched roofs and with a range of cost effective alternatives offering 10, 15 and 20 year warranties*, we’re sure to have the solution for your project.

These systems offer a faster method of application than traditional Pour & Roll, as the modified bitumen is applied to the felt during manufacture. The roll is therefore heated onsite with a gas torch, allowing the modified bitumen to pour down the roll forming a pool onto which the felt is rolled.
Available in a range of colours, these felts have a high resistance to puncture and provide a breathable solution to new roofs or for the repair of existing felt and asphalt roofs.

With an upper surface finished with fine sand, this underlay prevents penetration of water vapour and the damage that can be caused by this to roof construction.

20 SBS Modified Torch on Cap Sheet

The upper most layer of the system, the 20 SBS Modified Torch On Cap Sheet is torch applied and is coated with an SBS rubber modified bitumen coating. This comes with a 20 year material warranty*.

This SBS coated capsheet is finished with a factory applied choice of green, brown, blue-grey or black mineral granules or fine sand. The lower surface has a sacrificial film which rapidly melts during the torching operation.

Classic Torch on universal underlay

FIX-R Classic Torch On Universal Underlay consists of a glass tissue carrier coated with modified bitumen. The upper surface is finished with fine sand and the lower surface has a sacrificial film which rapidly melts during the torching operation.

Classic SBS torch on cap sheet

FIX-R Classic SBS Torch On Cap Sheets consist of a polyester carrier coated modified bitumen. The upper surface is finished with a factory applied mineral granules and the lower surface has a sacrificial film which rapidly melts during the torching operation. A 90mm sacrificial film selvedge facilitates bonding of side laps.

POUR AND ROLL UNDERLAYS

Classic 3B Pour & Roll Glass Underlay

Pour & roll bitumen membranes are fully bonded with a hot bonding bitumen around 240°C. This process typically requires 2 operatives, one pouring the hot bitumen and one rolling the membrane into the hot bitumen.

They all have tough polyester bases and consist of either oxidised or SBS modified bitumen coating. They are suitable for warm roofs, inverted roofs and cold roof applications and used in conjunction with a wide range of insulation boards.
